Õ¬Äе¼º½ Carries Out Successful ERM Training in Chile
The Õ¬Äе¼º½ Chile division held an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) training course at the Sheraton Hotel in Santiago, Chile, Nov. 7-8.
A total of 29 personnel from the Oil and Gas, Power, Forestry and other industrial sectors participated. The course material focused on a systematic process to organize and manage possible combinations of human errors, equipment failures and external influences that may threaten organizations and facilities. Õ¬Äе¼º½'s ERM methodology and technical capabilities cover a broad spectrum of markets, from commercial to the public sector, and this was reflected in the diversity of the attendees.
The objective of the course was to introduce these diverse organizations to the basics of ERM and prepare them for responding to any unexpected risks or challenges in order to more effectively achieve their business objectives. ERM provides organizations with an approach to managing both internal and external risks and facilitates improved decision-making.
